Hello 2S Parents and Students

Dear 2S Families,

I hope that November is going well for all of you. Don't forget that tomorrow is an SMS Early Release Day. It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. With this holiday in mind, the students in 2S will be spending some time in writing this week talking about things that we are thankful for in our lives. I would like to wish all of you an early Happy Thanksgiving!

This week is also American Education Week, During this week, teachers and students will be looking at different ways to see how education impacts our lives. Today we talked about how parents are good teachers that help to teach us life skills along with supporting what learn in the classroom.  Tomorrow students will be allowed to dress up as they would in their future career. This is an optional activity. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me.

On Friday, blank copies of progress reports will be coming home with your  child. This report is for parents to see what kinds of skills are being worked on in the classroom and at school. The only part that will be filled in for the first quarter of the progress report will be the attendance section. Please contact me with any questions.

Below are some upcoming events for 2S and SMS:
